Job Summary
  • Operate a tow truck and perform emergency roadside assistance service.
  • Provide safe and best in class roadside solutions while ensuring positive customer experiences.
  • Communicate with dispatcher for information about service requests.
  • Inspect tow truck on a daily basis and report routine maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure member safety and vehicle security, educate members on possible issues (e.g. battery checks, jump starts, and tire changes).
  • Load and safely secures vehicles on tow truck without causing damage or harm to customer vehicles, themselves or those around them.
  • Accept calls and respond to dispatch or customers with ETA (estimated time of arrival).
  • Keeps truck and equipment clean and well maintained.
  • Assess the safety of the scene on arrival to ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location to provide service so as not to endanger the customer, themselves or the tow truck
  • Ask for assistance if unsure about a certain situation
  • The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
Job Qualifications
  • Active and valid driver’s license issued by only one state or jurisdiction required
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred*
  • Training can be provided
  • Support various fleet locations based on business needs to be flexible and work nights, extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to handle physical work load
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues
