School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist

📍 Locations: Chattahoochee County, GA & Lanett City Schools, AL

Position Overview:
Human Performance and Rehabilitation Centers (HPRC) is seeking a School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist to serve students in both Chattahoochee County, Georgia and Lanett City Schools, Alabama . This is a 10-month, school-year-based position with flexible scheduling and travel reimbursement.

Details by Location:

Chattahoochee County, GA: 12–18 hours/week + travel time & mileage reimbursement
Lanett City Schools, AL: 6–12 hours/month + travel time & mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, identify areas of concern, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student academic success.
Plan and implement effective treatment programs focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
Provide consultation and education for teachers and staff to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills in students.
Ensure all documentation complies with state regulations and district standards for accuracy and timeliness.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Energetic, self-motivated, and organized with a passion for working with children in an educational environment.

Develop and execute individualized treatment plans with clear goals and measurable outcomes.
Use therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and equipment to support students’ functional abilities in a school setting.
