Brookdale Farms in Eureka, MO is looking for an Events Manager to join our strong and dedicated team. We are located at 8004 Twin River Rd. Brookdale Farms is a unique, rustic-chic event venue set on 300+ acres of scenic farmland bordered by the Big River and Meramec River. We specialize in public and private events that blend natural beauty with thoughtful hospitality. We pride ourselves on offering a peaceful, charming environment where unforgettable memories are made.

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and organized Events Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of our public events operation. From event coordination to event breakdown, you'll work closely with the General Manager and be the go-to person ensuring every public event runs smoothly and our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a rural outdoor farm setting, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working to bring their public events to life. Position will begin as a season position but could turn into year round position depending on the amount of public events scheduled. This position will not oversee private corporate and guest events or weddings at Brookdale.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all public events at the venue
• Schedule and conduct site tours for prospective public event clients with the General Manager
• Maintain a calendar of bookings and coordinate with vendors and staff accordingly
• Liaise with catering teams, decorators, photographers, and other service providers
• Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring the venue remains clean and well-presented
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations
• Work weekends and evenings as needed
• Work with in-house marketing team to capture photo and video content

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in event planning, coordination, or venue management
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
• Comfortable working in an outdoor, farm/rural environment
• Proficiency with event management software and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
• Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied hours
